The Problem: The "Connection Crisis"
Instead of just saying it’s a "Voice AI," I defined two distinct, high-impact user problems:
The Grief & Loneliness Gap: Elderly individuals who lose life partners often experience a cognitive decline accelerated by isolation. Traditional digital tools feel cold and impersonal for those in mourning.
The Bedtime Disconnect: In modern, time-poor households, children are increasingly bonding with generic iPad content rather than family voices, weakening the foundational bond between parent and child.
The Product Vision: From Utility to Emotional Resonance
Active Memory Synthesis: I designed a mobile experience where AI doesn't just "talk," it "listens" and "remembers".
The "Emotional Resonance" Slider: To ensure authenticity, I designed UI controls that allow users to adjust the Tone (Soft vs. Assertive) and Mood (Nostalgic vs. Optimistic) of the AI companion.
Multi-Generational Use Cases: Architected three distinct "Legacy" modes: Legacy Voice (Grief), Parental Voice(Infants), and Historical Narrator (Education).
Strategic Features (Showcasing PM Rigor)
Mood Trend Analytics: Built a tracking dashboard for "Average Resonance" to monitor the user's emotional state over time, allowing for a proactive rather than reactive companion experience.
Safety & Privacy Architecture: Recognizing the sensitivity of voice data, I prioritized a "Privacy Mode" and clear "Dark Mode" settings to ensure the product feels safe for vulnerable users.
Freemium Monetization Model: Designed a subscription tiering system ("Immortal Premium") that gates advanced cloning and photo-matching features, proving a clear path to revenue.
Impact & Validation
User Sentiment: While in the demo phase, the product received a Positive average resonance (+12%) from initial testers, specifically within the "Grief" use-case cohort.
Technical Validation: Successfully prototyped the end-to-end flow from Voice Cloning to Real-time Conversation on iOS.
